Seeking Customer Support Associates for Cashier Free Retail Location at DFW Airport (LOOKING FOR BOTH FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME) 

Position Starting Pay Rate: $17.00/hr, + 90-DAY PAY RATE CHANGE of up to $18/hr (based on attendance, punctuality and productivity!!) Competitive benefits to include major medical plan.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

As a CUSTOMER SUPPORT ASSOCIATE, you won’t be stuck behind a counter ringing up customers. Nor will you spend time counting and reconciling money at the beginning and end of your shift. We are a cash-free business where the technology handles the credit card sales transactions for us! Instead, our Team focuses on keeping shelves full of great products, organized and clean, and keeping customers happy!  We provide job readiness training, so you are comfortable how the technology works, the use of planograms and handheld devices for product tracking and get you familiar working at location within DFW Airport.  

At peak times, our location gets busy so enjoying a fast-paced environment while being able to complete tasks are key. Your willingness to learn new things, and a commitment to deliver excellent customer service will lead your path to success with PEI!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Professional and upbeat attitude while representing PEI while on-the-job, and actively contributes to a positive store environment
  • Enjoy engaging with the customers: help to familiarize our cashier-free shopping experience, assist with product selection, listening to their needs, and answering questions
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate timely and effectively with the Puente Team and Management: on customer feedback, out of stocks, and your ideas to improve both the customer and the Co-Team experience
  • Strives to keep shelves well-stocked: can follow a planogram, performs consistent product facings with organized and clean display areas
  • Takes pride in presenting a clean and safe work/sales environment: with routine dusting and cleaning as needed
  • Perform merchandising tasks: including compliance checks, shelf availability, cycle counts, and product expiration rotation
  • Work closely with Warehouse Supervisor: processing shipments, scanning product, performing inventory and cycle counts for back-room and central storage
  • Assist General Manager & Supervisors on planogram resets and other projects
  • Openness to receive and implement training, follow instructions, and SOPs
  • Must be able to work shifts individually, once training is completed. 

Skills and Requirements:

  • Familiarity operating hand-held devices like smartphones, tablets, etc. You will be trained on how this applies to the store operations
  • Must have strong customer service, communication skills and comfortable learning the entry-level needs of checkout-free technology
  • Provides accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and complete required tasks
  • Enjoys performing work in a fast-paced work environment with on-your-feet work on sales floor, assisting with removing displays and merchandising
  • Previous retail experience in a fast-paced environment desired
  • Must be able to work an entire shift independently, eight (8) hours or more.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during peak and holiday seasons, based on the needs of the business.
  • Lifting 35lbs minimum and reliable transportation required.
  • Must be able to pass a thorough TSA Federal Criminal 10 Year History Record Check

Schedule: Airport Hours of Operation are 6:00am to 10:00pm 

Education: High school or equivalent 

Experience: Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
